Admission Requirements

All candidates seeking admission to the ESL/Bilingual Endorsement program must:

• Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (early childhood, elementary, secondary, special K-12, or preschool-age 21).
• Complete the Graduate Application for Admission.
• Submit official transcripts* showing your bachelor’s degree and any graduate coursework.

*Most institutions use Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse to send transcripts. If your college or university does not use either, please have your official transcripts sent to AU-Etranscripts@aurora.edu or the mailing address below.
