This page is a quick summary of information resources for faculty and other instructors. Follow the links for details. Resources marked with the (AU only) label are accessible only from within the campus network or through the use of a special password. Instructional Resources Online
moodle.aurora.edu/moodle Moodle is AU's online learning system. Courses are automatically created for all AU classes and are ready for instructor's use. A quick-start guide to using Moodle for instructors is available at www.aurora.edu/its/tb/47moodle-instructor.htm. That document also contains links to additional sources of information on using Moodle.
www.turnitin.com AU is a licensed user of Turnitin, an online plagiarism detection tool that has a number of other features. For a quick guide on getting started see www.aurora.edu/its/tb/41turnitin.htm.
www.aurora.edu/academics/library/database-name.html The AU library has subscribed to a large collection of online databases, available to authorized users from both on and off campus.
www.aurora.edu/academics/resources/learning-center The Aurora University Center for Teaching and Learning provides tutoring and other forms of assistance to students who have encountered academic difficulties.

Academic Information Sources and Tools

www.aurora.edu/classes The Class Schedule pages contain listings by department of current and upcoming classes. These tables are updated nightly.
www.aurora.edu/academics/resources/final-exams.html This page contains the official final exam schedule and details of the final examination policy.
http://www.aurora.edu/au/forms/textbkreq.htm Use this textbook request form to place a requisition for textbooks for your classes through the AU bookstore. This form can also be used to communicate with Information Services about special\ software required for the labs.
https://wa3.aurora.edu/WebAdvisor/WebAdvisor WebAdvisor is the web-based interface to Datatel Colleague, AU's administrative database application. Information for faculty includes course assignments, grades, and advising lists. (Regular faculty access only.)

www.aurora.edu/au/gened/index.htm The General Education Homepage provides faculty and staff easy access to documents related to general education and revisions to the 2002 General Education Proposal.

Network and Communications Services
www.aurora.edu/its/tb/vacmessage.htm All instructors, adjuncts as well as regular faculty, must monitor their AU email accounts since it is the source not only for official information but communications from their students. This document explains how to set up email forwarding as well as vacation messages.
