Theatre Scholarships

Aurora University awards generous theatre scholarships based on the incoming student’s audition and interview (this is separate from any academic merit or need-based aid that the University awards to undergraduate students).

Scholarships are awarded to incoming theatre majors and non-majors who demonstrate exceptional performance or technical skills. Theatre scholarships are renewable at the end of the academic year for up to four years. Total scholarship amounts, including academic and other AU scholarships, cannot exceed the price of tuition at the university.

Upon completion of your application, audition and interview, your Admission Counselor will contact you regarding the scholarship. Please note, that you must be admitted to Aurora University before your scholarship is revealed to you.

Students who plan to enroll at Aurora University in the fall may apply for a Theatre Scholarship. Awards range from $500-$5,000. Audition requirements are listed in the AU theatre scholarship packet. If you have any questions, please contact the Theatre Department at theatre@aurora.edu.

Registrations for theatre scholarship auditions are closed. Questions, please contact Ms. Stacy Searle, ssearle@aurora.edu.
