Linden Oaks Hospital at Edward
In a lovely suburb just west of Chicago, this well established eating disorder program is located in the behavioral health hospital located on the campus of a full service medical facility. Our multidisplinary eating disorder team has been extensively trained in the management of females, males, children and adolescents. Many of the psychiatrists serving you are on the faculty of a medical school but maintain their private practice at our facility. An intensive eating disorder program includes medical management, nutritional, expressive, family, group and individual therapy. There are specialty programs, like substance abuse and self-injury that can be adjuncted to make your treatment individual and unique. Programming ranges the full span from intensive 24 hr care to a variety of outpatient services, including free ANAD support groups. A free comprehensive initial assessment is provided upon request to match your clinical needs with services at our hospital or referral to community or national resources.

Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital
The program offers comprehensive care for individuals who are struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia, compulsive overeating or binge eating. Treatment services emphasize the development of positive self-identity, life management skills and a more healthy approach to nutrition and eating. The treatment team provides the medical, nutritional, psychological and spiritual resources for their patients to recover. Specialized eating disorder services exist for children, adolescents and adults within an intensive outpatient, partial and inpatient hospitalization programs. The ED program treats all forms of eating disorders- males, females, children, adolescents and adults—and associated issues related to self-injury and chemical dependency.

Evanston Northwestern Healthcare - Center for Eating Disorders
The Center for Eating Disorders offers a nationally and internationally recognized program for people with anorexia nervosa and bulimia. The Center's professional team is committed to assessing and treating each individual. The goal is to help those with eating disorders and their family members to understand the physical, emotional and social aspects of the problem and to help the individual develop healthy eating behaviors, increase self esteem, and learn positive coping skills.

The professional team includes board certified psychiatrists, registered psychiatric nurses, social workers, registered dieticians, art therapists, certified teachers, certified alcohol/drug counselors, and mental health counselors.

Programs include Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Aftercare, Individual and Family Counseling.

Clarus Center
Dr. LiCavoli is the founder and co-owner of Clarus Center. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who obtained her doctorate from Northwestern University Medical Graduate School. Providing psychotherapy for four years on the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Campus, Dr. LiCavoli learned the art and science of engendering lasting change via in-depth interpersonal psychotherapy. Interning at the University of Chicago Hospital's Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, she gained insights on emotional development through working with all age groups beginning with infants and their parents. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, she worked both inpatient and outpatient with a multi disciplinary team, solidifying her specialization in treating trauma and eating disorders. Seeking to treat clients within the context of their relationships, Dr. LiCavoli completed an additional year of training at the Family Institute of Northwestern University. Presently, Dr. LiCavoli works to bridge traditional and alternative treatments for a more complete mind, body, spirit approach to health. She provides individual and group psychotherapy for adolescents and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns. Dr. LiCavoli provides community and professional education, is published in the area of integrated treatment and eating disorders, and is certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
