Free Group Exercise Classes at AU
Aurora campus - Spring 2010
Location: Activity Room (Lower Level, Alumni Hall)
Classes are open to all AU students, faculty and staff on a first-come, first-serve basis. Class size is limited to 30 participants per class.
Yoga
Tuesdays12:00 to 1:00 p.m. and 9:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Instructed by Jeff Manning
January 19 through May 4
Class focus is on basic yoga poses and breathing. Dress comfortably. Mats will be provided.
Cardio Blast
Thursdays12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Instructed by Tara Klotz
January 21 through May 6
Cardio workout designed to challenge major muscle groups. A variety of exercise equipment (stability balls, step equipment and light hand weights) may be utilized. All equipment provided.
The "Wellness Works" program, offered by the Wellness Center, is a program designed to encourage students, as well as faculty and staff, to get moving, eat healthy and manage stress. Throughout the semester, there will be various events and workshops you can attend to learn how to incorporate these principles into your busy lifestyle.
