Religion Program

In recent years, Aurora University has re-introduced a Religion major and a Religion minor. Religion major students have to study Christianity at some depth, so as to understand the history, implicit beliefs and social structures of our United States. They have also to acquire some knowledge of other faiths and of interfaith dialogue, partly because this is the most religiously divers country in the world and also because religion so often lies at the root both of appallingly evil and amazingly good acts in the wider world.
