Upload A Single File:

This type of assignment allows the students to turn in files in moodle, instead of emailing them to professors. This type of assignment can also prevent late submissions.

Advanced Uploading of files:

Like the upload a single file assignment, this will allow you to collect files from students but also send one back if you wish to.
