Counseling Services
Emotional, social or psychological concerns can interfere with daily functioning at any point in life, and often occur during the many changes that are a part of college.
Some of the symptoms you may experience are depression, anxiety or feeling stressed out or overwhelmed. Counseling Services provides a safe, quiet and confidential place for students to talk about their concerns. Counseling provides a nonjudgmental environment in which to talk with a professional to figure out the source of the trouble and regain or learn new ways of coping.
You can come to counseling for a specific concern or to learn more about yourself. Also available are contacts with off-campus, community mental health professionals, as well as a variety of personality or mental health assessments and informative, self-help materials.
