Classes are open to all current AU students, faculty and staff on a first-come, first-serve basis. Class size is limited. No sign up required, just show up!

Body Sculpting

Monday
12pm-1pm
Jan. 25 through May 2 (no class March 7)

Activity Room (Lower Level, Alumni Hall)

Class Description: This one hour class consists of resistance training utilizing exercise bands, weights and stability balls to firm and sculpt the body.  No cardio.
Instructed by:  Annie Craig

Zumba

Monday
7pm-8pm
Jan. 25 through May 2 (no class March 7)
Activity Room (Lower Level, Alumni Hall)

Class Description:  Peform fun and simple dance moves set to Latin and International music.  You'll forget you were working out as you move to the beat of the music.  No previous dance experience required.  Moves will target your legs, abs, glutes and arms.

Yoga 

Tuesday

Class Description: This is a one-hour Ashtanga Yoga class that coordinates the breath to flow with the body.  It is physically challenging and stress relieving.

Power Yoga

Class Description:  This power vinyasa yoga class focuses on the foundations of power yoga, body alignment and aligning breathing with movement.  The class is for all levels of students.

Cardio Kick & Train

Class Descritpion: THis one-hour class includes kick-boxing, cardio work and resistance training.

The "Wellness Works" program, offered by the Wellness Center, is a program designed to encourage students, as well as faculty and staff, to get moving, eat healthy, and manage stress.  Throughout the semester, there will be various events and workshops you can attend to learn how to incorporate these principles into your busy life.
