MATC Frequently Asked Questions:
Who can apply?
Available to individuals with a Bachelor's Degree interested in entering
the teaching profession.
When could I start?
We offer two semesters per year, starting in January and August
with additional summer classes available. Semester classes are sixteen
weeks long, one night per week from 6 p.m. - 9:45 p.m. Scheduling varies
for classroom observations and student teaching.
Where are the classes?
All courses will be held at George Williams College
of Aurora University in Williams Bay, WI, approximately one hour from
Madison and Milwaukee, located just off Interstate 43.
How long does the program take?
Courses are taken in specific sequence which can be completed in 2
years.
What grade could I teach?
You could be eligible to teach middle childhood through early adolescent
(approximate grades 1-8) and early adolescent through adolescent (approximate
grades 6-12) pending undergraduate major.
