Concentration:
Students will select a concentration for the advanced year of the curriculum. Concentrations are:
1) Clinical Practice; or, 2) Management & Community Practice. Students will enroll in the sections of Social Work Practice III & IV, Advanced Social Policy, and Research II that correspond with their concentration.

School Social Work Sequence:
(School internship is completed in advanced year of the MSW Program)
STUDENTS MUST:

  1. Take and pass the Illinois Basic Skills Exam before the end of Fall Semester, 1st year
  2. Complete SWK 5610: Survey of the Exceptional Child before Fall Semester, 2nd year (elective course)
  3. Enroll in SWK 6410 & 6420: School Social Work: Policy & Practice I, II in the 2nd year (elective courses
