Who Will I Study With?
At Aurora University you will pursue your professional education with:
Other Students With Interests Similar to Yourself
You will be pursuing your professional education with a cohort
of approximately 25 of your peers. You will be encouraged in the BSW
program to build collegial relationships among your peers creating for
yourself a professional network as your progress through the program.
Approximately two-thirds of your cohort will be traditional college
students and one-third will be nontraditional college students pursuing
career changes. You will study with peers who began their college education
at Aurora University and those who transferred into Aurora University
from a community college or from another four year academic institution.
Experienced Social Workers Will Serve As Your Instructors
All of the faculty at Aurora University are committed to practicing
as social workers in addition to teaching in a professional school. As
a result you will find they bring to life the course material with their
rich and varied professional experiences. You will find the faculty have
had fulfilling careers and bring to class their enthusiasm and love of
social work.
