BSW Admissions:
General Information
The BSW Admissions is a two-step process with students requesting
admission to the university first and then seeking formal admission
to the BSW program itself.
BSW Admissions Requirements:
- completed or in the process of completing the first two years of
undergraduate education (60 semester hours)
- completed a minimum of 2 of the 5 required social work prerequisite
courses
- demonstrated the ability to perform academically by having earned
a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- completion of PSY1100 General Psychology and SOC1100 Principles
of Sociology
- a willingness to adhere to the Social
Work Code of Ethics
- a career goal consistent with the BSW program's philosophy and curriculum
- completed and submitted the BSW Admissions Application materials
