College of Professional Studies
School of Social Work
Welcome to the School of Social Work Alumni Web Site:
Aurora
University is committed to creating a lifelong community of B.S.W. and
M.S.W. graduates. Continuing your connections to the AU/GWC community
provides you with the opportunity to stay in touch with your professors,
share employment insights and opportunities with others, give important
feedback to both the B.S.W. and M.S.W. programs; learn about CEU opportunities
and a lot more. This Web site also provides you the vehicle to connect
to people who may also be in a position to provide advice on an agency
concern and/or mentor you through a difficult time. Therefore, this is
AU/GWC’s proposal to you: stay in touch, stay committed to continuous
improvement and learning by using this web site and your relationship
with the university.
I am also an alum of the George Williams M.S.W. Program from 1982. Since
moving to the Aurora University campus in the mid 1980s, the School of
Social Work has carried on the strong tradition started on the Downers
Grove campus, and in addition, has become an even stronger professional
program. We are committed to serving our alumni from both the GWC and
AU programs. The tradition is the same, even though the location may have
changed. We also need your input to continue to develop the type of professional
program that is responsive to you, the agencies you work for, and the
communities we serve. Please take time to explore the wide array of features
on this Web site, and please let me know how we can continue to be responsive
to you as an alum.
