Spartan Men's Basketball Earn Bid to NCAA Tournament

AURORA, Ill. March 3, 2008 - The Aurora University Spartan Men's Basketball team has been selected to participate in the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball tournament. The Spartans will take on Augustana College on Friday, March 7, 2008 in a First Round game at Augustana in Rock Island, IL. Game time is set for 8:00 p.m.

Tickets for Friday's game will be on sale in the lobby of Alumni Hall on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are unable to make the ticket sale time, please contact Lisa Wisniowicz (630-844-4574). Tickets will be in high demand and may not be available at Augustana College, so get them early!!

Friday's other First Round game will feature Washington University - St. Louis and Wooster College.

The Spartan men's basketball team has a 22-6 record and are 2007-2008 Northern Athletics Conference Champions.
