Hear Aurora University Homecoming Football On Radio, Internet Oct. 20

AURORA, Ill. October 15, 2007 - Aurora University’s homecoming football game against Concordia University-Chicago, on Saturday, Oct. 20, will be aired by two northern Illinois radio stations.

WKKD 1580 AM, Aurora, and WMCW 1600 AM, Harvard, will broadcast the action simultaneously from 12:30 to about 4:30 p.m. The broadcast will also be carried on the Internet at www.wmcw.net.

Broadcast coverage will begin at 12:30 p.m. with interviews of Rich Duncan, AU head football coach; Mark Walsh, director of athletics; and Carol Dunn, vice president of enrollment.

The broadcast will continue with play-by-play coverage, a halftime report, and a post-game report.

The broadcast team includes WMCW’s Erik Gustafson, who will call the plays and conduct interviews, and Jim Scott of Aurora, AU football coach from 1985 to 2005, who will provide color commentary.
