Spartan Named to D3Kicks.com Men’s Soccer Team of the Week

AURORA, Ill. October 2, 2007 - Aurora University men’s soccer player, senior defender Andrew Taylor (DeKalb, IL/DeKalb HS) was named to the D3Kicks.com Men’s Soccer Team of the Week for the week ending September 30, 2007.

The senior defender was instrumental in Aurora's 2-0 week, both shutout victories over Northern Athletics Conference opponents, Concordia University Chicago (2-0) and Milwaukee School of Engineering (5-0).

In AU's 5-0 win over MSOE, Taylor had the game winning goal and assisted on another from his defensive position, while also being a mainstay in front of the Spartan goalkeeper on defense.

Taylor and the Spartan men’s soccer team are in action next on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, when they travel to Dominican University for a NAC match-up. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. in River Forest, IL.
