Spartan Named to D3Kicks.com Women’s Soccer Team of the Week

AURORA, Ill. September 26, 2007 - Aurora University women’s soccer player, sophomore goalkeeper Jenny Jarvis (Naperville, IL/Naperville Central HS) was named to the D3Kicks.com Women’s Soccer Team of the Week for the week ending September 23, 2007.

On the week in which Jarvis extended her current scoreless streak to 409:03 minutes, totaling the last four and one-half games, she was named to the women’s team of the week as the goalkeeper.

In her two games last week, both shutout victories (Wisconsin Lutheran 4-0 and Kalamazoo College 3-0), Jarvis was excellent in goal with four saves. Thus far on the season, Jarvis has 5-2-1 overall record and 3-0 in Northern Athletics Conference action with a 1.12 goals against average, four shutouts and 25 saves.

Jarvis and the Spartan women’s soccer team are in action, following today’s NAC contest at home against Rockford College at 4:00 p.m. on AU Field, next on Saturday, September 29, 2007, when they travel to Milwaukee School of Engineering for a NAC match-up. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, WI.
