Spartan Named NAC Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week

AURORA, Ill. September 12, 2007 - Aurora University Spartans women’s golf freshman Kristen Richardson (Shabbona, IL/Indian Creek HS) was named Northern Athletics Conference Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week.

In her first collegiate meet, Richardson claimed medalist honors and helped the Spartans to a second place finish at the Edgewood College Fall Invitational. Richardson shot an 87 on day one and an 86 on day two for a 173 (+29) total.

The Spartan women’s golf team is in action again on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, when they travel to the Elmhurst College Invitational. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Elmhurst, IL.
