AURORA, Ill. August 30, 2007 - Aurora University has been picked to win the 2007 Northern Athletics Conference Men's Cross Country Championship, while AU and Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) have been picked to win the Women's Championship according to the coaches' preseason poll.

In the women's poll, AU and CUW received the identical amount of first place votes (five) and points (159). In last season's Northern Athletics Conference Championship, both teams finished with 45 points, and the Spartans won the championship based on the higher finish of the teams' sixth runners.
