Spartan Named NAC Men’s Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, Ill. April 26, 2007 - Aurora University men’s track and field thrower, freshman Adrian Kibiersza (Des Plaines, IL/Maine West H.S.), was named Northern Athletics Conference Men’s Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.

Kibiersza, a freshman won the discus with a throw of 48.70m (159'9"), good enough for an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying mark, at the Benedictine University Invitational. Kibierska also finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 15.16m (49'9").

Next action for the Spartan men's track and field team comes on Saturday, May 5, 2007, when they travel to the Northern Athletics Conference Championships at Benedictine University. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Lisle, IL.
