Spartan Named NAC Women’s Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, Ill. April 12, 2007 - Aurora University women’s track and field thrower, junior Sarah Brennan (Geneva, IL/Geneva H.S.), was named Northern Athletics Conference Women’s Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.

Brennan finished fourth in the hammer throw at the Chicagoland Outdoor Championships hosted by North Central College. Her throw of 42.71m (140-01) was the best Division III mark in the event.

Next action for the Spartan women's track and field team comes on Saturday, April 14, 2007, when they travel to the Wheaton College Invitational. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Wheaton, IL.
