Spartan Named NAC Men’s Tennis Co-Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, Ill. April 4, 2007 - Aurora University men’s tennis senior Cole Guetschow (Carpentersville, IL/Dundee-Crown H.S.), was named Northern Athletics Conference Men’s Tennis Co-Student-Athlete of the Week.

Guetschow was 4-0 on the week while AU went 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the NAC. Guetschow won both his matches at No. 5 singles, including a 6-1, 6-2 win over Marian College's Chee Vang. In double action, Guetschow teamed up to win both matches by scores of 8-0 (against Rockford College) and 8-5 (against Marian College).

Next action for the Spartan men’s tennis team comes on Saturday, April 7, 2007, when they travel to Lakeland College for a NAC contest at 11:00 a.m. in Sheboygan, WI and Lawrence University at 1:00 p.m. in Appleton, WI.
