Sikorski Named NAC Co-Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, Ill. March 28, 2007 - Aurora University women’s track and field distance runner, senior Fran Sikorsi (Lombard, IL/Driscoll Catholic H.S.), was named Northern Athletics Conference Co-Student-Athlete of the Week.

Sikorski set two school records at the Lynx Spring Break Invitational at Rhodes College. Sikorski placed seventh in the 800m run with a time of 2:28.23, and recorded her record time in the 1,500m run with a time of 5:01.12.

Next action for the Spartan women's track and field team comes on Saturday, March 31, 2007, when they travel to the Warrior Classic at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Milwaukee, WI.
