Escort Service

In an effort to provide a continual public safety awareness and community support, the Aurora University Campus Safety will provide an escort service to Faculty, Staff, Students and Visitors to our campus.

• An escort service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling on-campus extension 6140 from any on-campus phone to request escort services, or dialing 630-844-6140.
• The escort service will be provided by either a uniformed officer from Campus Safety, or a Campus Safety Student Worker.
• If a Student Worker is providing the escort, they will be readily identified by a Campus Safety reflector vest. The Campus Safety Officer or Student Worker will also have a flashlight and radio.
• The escort service is restricted to the Campus property and the city streets in the immediate area.
• We regret that Campus Safety is not equipped to provide a vehicle lock-out response. Upon request, we will contact a locksmith as the Aurora Police Department (APD) does not provide lock-out services.
