The Aurora University Advantage

As we prepare for a new millennium, one thing is certain: the $300 billion per year leisure service industry will continue to be one of the fastest growing service fields in our society. As a result, individuals pursuing a healthy and more active lifestyle will look to programs run by top-quality professionals.

Those professionals will come from 310 colleges and universities nationwide that offer degrees in recreation administration.

What Sets Us Apart from the Rest:
Out of those 310 colleges and universities, only 95 have nationally accredited programs by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and the American Association of Leisure and Recreation (AALR). Aurora University is one of those 95 schools.

What About the Curriculum?:
AU's curriculum is cutting-edge and reviewed by practitioners in the field through a Professional Advisory Council. But it's also practical. So practical, you can transition from being a student to becoming a practicing professional right after graduation.
