School of Experiential Leadership
Recreation Administration Graduate Assistantships:
The Aurora University Recreation Administration Graduate Program
has contracted with agencies in the northern Illinois and southeastern
Wisconsin to provide graduate assistant services. These are professional
placements where students continue to gain experience while working on
their Masters degree in Recreation Administration.
These assistantships
are awarded on a competitive basis based upon the applicant's experience
and qualifications. Priority is given to full-time students taking (12)
semester hours per term. Students interview with the Recreation Administration
Graduate Program Chair and Executive Director of the agency prior to
placement.
It is best to apply early as the Recreation Administration
Graduate Program receives many student applications from international countries
and the United States each year. Students must also apply online to the Aurora
University graduate school and be accepted to receive an assistantship.
