Financial Aid Information

Financial Aid is an important part of the admission process. It’s never too early to begin thinking about how you will finance your college education. Beginning January of 2005 you will want to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (Fafsa). Need-based aid and student loans are calculated by filling out this form.

Interested in getting an early idea of what an AU education will cost? We are currently accepting financial aid early estimators. Filling out an estimator we will be able to tell you what you may qualify for as an AU student—calculating possible need-based aid and scholarship information. Download an early estimator on our website, simply go to: http://www.aurora.edu/finaid/forms.htm and click on early estimator.

You will soon be receiving your scholarship letter from Aurora University . AU offers merit-based scholarships and grants to each student based on his/her academic success in high school. Check your mailbox, your letter should be in the mail soon!

Have specific questions on how financial aid works? Mapping Your Future (MYF) chat events are a great way to speak to a counselor and ask financial aid, college and career questions.
