What attracted you to AU? The small class sizes and friendly environment.
What do you feel makes AU unique? The extra mile the faculty and staff go to make sure the students receive the best education.
Who is your favorite professor? My favorite professor would be Dr. Don Phelps. I took his Human Behavior and the Social Environment class, and he teaches from the heart and presents the course material in an interesting way. He is a very good professor because he really engages his students and encourages us to be more than what others expect us to be.
What do you hope to be doing after AU? I hope to be working on my master's degree in social work with a specialization in child welfare.

What advice would you give a first-year or prospective student? Become really active and involved with on-campus events and organizations and be open-minded.
When did you realize AU was the place for you? My junior year, when I became more active and involved on campus, I felt a part of the AU community!
What is your favorite AU tradition? "Pancake Night"
What is your favorite part about AU? My favorite part about AU would be the outstanding Social Work program, the organizations I am involved in and the friendships I have made.
Most exciting event on campus? The annual fashion show
What kind of activities do you participate in on campus? I am a member of Awareness Respect Integrity Sisterhood Empowerment (ARISE) and the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority.
What do you do in your free time? I like to read and relax.
What do you do for fun? I like to do recreational activities, like bowling, skating, going to the movies and shopping!
