What attracted you to AU? The beautiful, close-knit campus and the nursing school.

Who is your favorite professor? What class did you take with that professor? David Rudek, Lifespan Development. Every day is fun, and he makes the information understandable.

What do you hope to be doing after AU? Working as an oncology nurse.

Favorite quote? "Screws fall out all the time. The world is an imperfect place."

Favorite movie? "The Italian Job"

What advice would you give a first-year or prospective student? Get out there and make friends, enjoy college life and make your first year memorable.

The AU community is a close-knit group of students, professors and alumni. What's it like? It's very rewarding, especially once you know the professors and see how they respect you.

What is your favorite part about AU? The people. Everyone is so welcoming.

Most exciting event on campus? I love watching the hypnotist.

What kinds of hands-on work experience have you had as an AU student? I started freshman year working for the Admission office, making calls in the evening, and computer and office work during the day. Now I work there as an intern counselor.

What kind of activities do you participate in on campus? A lot of my friends are involved in theatre, so I love going to their events and watching them!

What is your favorite thing to do on the weekends? Just hang out and forget the stress of school for those days.

What do you do for fun? We go out to dinner sometimes. And of course, there are our frequent and random trips to the 24-hour Walmart.

Where is the best place to study? I like to study in my room mostly. I only go to the library if I really need to make myself focus.
