What attracted you to AU? The softball program.
What do you feel makes AU unique? The beautiful campus and the Quad.
Who is your favorite professor? What class did you take with that professor? Linda Gates, Teaching Team Sports. She is very supportive, gives great teaching advice and makes the class fun!
What do you hope to be doing after AU? Teaching physical education in an elementary school or high school.
Favorite movie? "Dirty Dancing"
The AU community is a close-knit group of students, professors and alumni. What's it like? It is nice seeing someone I know walking from building to building. Teachers get to know you on a personal level.
Most exciting event on campus? Homecoming football games.
What kinds of hands-on work experience have you had as an AU student? Working with the partnership schools to teach fourth- and fifth-grade students here on campus.
What is your favorite thing to do on the weekends? Sleep in!
Why did you choose to come to AU and get involved with athletics? The softball team is good, and I liked the girls and coach.
What do you like most about your team sport? That we have fun, yet are focused during the games.
What benefits have you gained from participating in athletics here at AU? Taking on leadership roles, making a good group of friends, and being acknowledged as an athlete and student.
What has been the most memorable moment in your team's history thus far? We have won the conference every year since I've been here.
