AU Business Workshop to Address Immigration Trends, Issues

AURORA, Ill. — "Immigration Trends and Issues," a free business workshop, will be presented at Aurora University's Human Resources Institute from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the University Banquet Hall at Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.
The program is free to the public. Networking and refreshments are at 7:30 a.m.
The presenter will be attorney Andrew Sagartz, MBA, JD, president and executive director of Deerfield-based BENNU Legal Services NFP. The nonprofit agency provides affordable services supporting legal immigration and small-business entrepreneurs.
Topics Sagartz will discuss include preparing for a compliance audit, organizing I-9 paperwork and handling a no-match letter from Social Security about an employee.
He has extensive experience with immigration and nationality law representing both organizations and individuals.
Sagartz earned a JD from Ohio State University with honors and his MBA, with distinction, from Thunderbird University, where he received the prestigious Worldwide Scholarship.

- Nov. 18: "Creating Performance Sustainability," by Anthony Colantoni, principal, SGC Consulting Group, Inc.
- Jan. 27, 2010: "Utilizing Mindmaps for Success," David Dulany, assistant professor of business, Aurora University
