Employee Benefits Trends: Aurora University Workshop Aug. 26
8/11/2009
AURORA, Ill. — "Update on Benefits Issues and Trends," a free workshop, will be presented at Aurora University's Human Resources Institute from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the University Banquet Hall at Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.
The program is free to the public. Networking and refreshments are at 7:30 a.m.
Daniel F. Rigby, president and CEO of Naperville-based Human Resources Management Systems, LLC, will discuss what organizations are planning and doing about benefits, what benefit changes may be mandated by government, and how they may impact employers.
Under Rigby's leadership, HRMS has evolved from an employee benefits advisor to a full-service HR-benefits provider. Today HRMS helps small and mid-sized employers across the U.S. align benefits and HR functions with business objectives.
Rigby has been an early proponent of effective health-care cost-management through ongoing trends analysis and forecasting. Leading insurance carriers actively seek his advice on employee benefits trends and planning.
His professional memberships include the Million Dollar Roundtable and in 2005 was invited to join the exclusive Top of the Table. He holds the designation Registered Health Underwriter.
Rigby is active in the Boy Scouts of America Three Fires Council and has served on the board of Benedictine University and Illinois State Chamber of Commerce.
