8/1/2009

AURORA, Ill. — Local residents in an AU graduate course are among 25 educators exhibiting nature photos at the Aurora Public Library west branch at 233 S. Constitution Drive in Aurora.
"This Wild Life" is on display through Aug. 15. The exhibit is free to the public. Library hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Educators took the photos as students in "Biology: The Unity and Diversity of Life," an Aurora University summer graduate course. Jane L. Davis, associate professor of biology, was the instructor.

Students took the photos during field trips to Morton Arboretum, Shedd Aquarium, Michigan Dunes, a Madison, Wis., arboretum and other locations.
