AURORA, Ill. — Nancy Mactague, Aurora University research and electronic resources librarian, was among presenters at the second annual conference of the DuPage Library System (DLS) held recently at Pheasant Run Lodge in St. Charles.

Mactague, a Lombard resident, discussed "Library Databases: Meet Your Community." She described how AU's library maximizes database resources through marketing, selectively adding databases and discontinuing underused databases.

The theme of the conference was "Library as Destination."

The DLS is one of nine regional library systems in Illinois that support local library services. Founded in 1966, DLS includes 132 members, including academic, public, school and special libraries in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will counties.
