AURORA, Ill. — Aurora University will host a Doctor of Education degree information session at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in Room 213 of the Institute for Collaboration, 407 S. Calumet Ave. in Aurora.

Prospective students are invited to meet with faculty members and learn about Ed.D. concentrations, course and dissertation requirements, and admission requirements. AU's College of Education and the Center for Adult and Graduate Studies are the sponsors.

A new Ed.D. cohort will start this fall. Program tracks are leadership in educational administration, or leadership in curriculum and instruction. The curriculum track offers K-12 or adult-education emphases.

Both tracks emphasize development in professional practice and prepare students for careers in administration, staff development, curriculum development, and as teacher-educators.
