Lifetime membership in Delta Mu Delta brings with it numerous benefits both at the national and the chapter levels.


Lifetime Recognition for Outstanding Academic Achievement

Delta Mu Delta membership provides recognition for a lifetime. As one of the highest national endorsements a business student can earn, it is appropriate to include Delta Mu Delta membership on your resume throughout your lifetime.

Certificate of Membership
At the annual ceremony, new inductees in the Iota Phi chapter of Delta Mu Delta receive a personalized certificate of membership, suitable for framing and display at work or at home.

Society Kase Key
At the annual ceremony, incoming members of the Iota Phi chapter of Delta Mu Delta receive the Society key, appropriate for wearing on your lapel at business or Society events.

Letter of Acknowledgment
Once inducted as a member of the Iota Phi Chapter of Delta Mu Delta, you may request a letter of acknowledgement, signed by the National Executive Director and the chapter Faculty Advisor, to be sent to your employer acknowledging your academic achievements as evidenced by your membership in the Society. This letter may be requested any time throughout your membership.

Honor Cord
Members of the Aurora Iota Phi Chapter are encouraged to wear the Society's Honor Cord at graduation ceremony. This silk cord, displaying the Society colors, is worn draped around one's neck over the commencement regalia. The Delta Mu Delta honor cord may be obtained for a nominal fee by clicking here.

Scholarship Program
The national organization of Delta Mu Delta annually rewards academic excellence in the study of business to students across the country through its scholarship program. To be eligible to compete in the national Society's annual scholarship awards program, students need not be Delta Mu Delta members, but must have high academic standing.

Acknowledgment for Federal Employment
Membership in Delta Mu Delta fulfills one of the requirements for entrance at the GS-7 level in numerous professional and technical occupations in the federal service.

Networking Opportunities
Aurora's Iota Phi Chapter provides opportunities for members to meet with one another and with other corporate leaders for networking opportunities, and to hear speakers discuss current business issues.

Lifetime Contact through The Delta Mu Delta Vision
The Society publishes The Vision at least annually for distribution to the membership. The newsletter keeps the membership informed of the Society's activities and current business issues.
