Executive Board Members

Kirby Mickelson, President

My name is Kerby Mickelson and I am the President of AUSA. This is my fourth year in this organization and the third year on the executive board. I am an elementary education major finishing up with student teaching in the spring. I am very involved around campus as a Senior Resident Assistant and working with the Office of Student Activities. I am unsure of what exactly I will be doing after I graduate but I know that it will involve teaching and having fun.

David Blancas, Vice President

My name is David Blancas and I am the Vice President of AUSA. I am in my third year at AU. My major is Math-Secondary Education. My activities include, or have included: the Latin American Student Organization, Choir, Theater, and the Honors Program. Kate Wyss, Senate Chair

My name is Katie Wyss and I am the AUSA Senate Chair. I have been involved in AUSA for four years and on the executive board for two. I am a senior, Biology-Secondary Education Major and plan to graduate in May. I grew up in Chebanse, Illinois. I am also involved as a Peer Advisor, Student Worker, and member of FEAU.

Kristin Persick, Secretary

My name is Kristin Persick. I grew up in Oconomowoc, WI. I am a junior at Aurora University majoring in Political Science and Spanish and I will also have a Supplementary Degree in Pre-Law. I plan on going to Law School to study either Environmental or International Law. I am the Secretary of AUSA and I am also an active member in Colleges Against Cancer and the Pre-Law Club.

Jordan Barry, Treasurer

My name is Jordan Barry and I am a senior. I grew up in Decatur, Illinois. I have a sister who is 25 and she lives in California. I have a major in Marketing and a minor in Professional Sales and in Spanish. I will graduate in May. I am a member and captain of the Men's Soccer Team. I have been involved with AUSA since my sophomore year and have been the treasurer since last year.
