Mission Statement

The Office of Data Management (ODM) is an extension of the Office of the Provost and is responsible for the oversight and coordination of information relating to academic affairs, assessment, institutional research and institutional technology.

ODM works closely with the university’s offices of Enrollment Management (including the registrar, financial aid, admissions and student accounts), Advancement including university communications, alumni relations, development and fund-raising), and Student life to assure that published data are accurate, accessible and current.

The office assists all other university areas in collecting data and will assure that data collection is maximally efficient and secure.

The office also convenes a monthly Data Management Advisory Board, which includes Registrar, representatives of Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, Institutional Review Board, Information Services, Alumni Relations and others depending on the topics for discussion.
