George Williams College Slates Golf Lessons

Williams Bay, Wis.—George Williams College of Aurora University will offer golf classes for youth and adults in May and June on the campus golf course. The campus is located at 350 Constance Blvd. in Williams Bay.

Pete Puleo, US Golf Teachers Federation-certified teaching professional, is the instructor. He will teach new golfers golf etiquette and club handling, and help experienced golfers improve their scores. Golf clubs and carts are available for rental.

The schedule is:

  • Women’s Beginning Clinic: A women’s beginning clinic will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays May 13, 20, 27, June 3 and 10. The class will teach basic rules, etiquette, and swing techniques. The class is open to women from age 18. Class size is from four to 12 students. The fee is $60 per person.
  • Adult Beginning Clinics: Daytime and evening golf clinics will be offered in two sessions. Session one is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays, May 22, 29, June 5, 12, and 19. Students must be 18 to enroll. Classes will include four to 12 students. The fee is $60 per person. Registration is due two weeks in advance. Session two will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 12, 17, 19, 24, and 26. Students must be 18 to enroll. Classes will include four to 12 students. The fee is $60 per person.
  • Youth Beginning Clinic: A Youth Beginning Clinic for students ages 12 to 17 will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 10, 12, 17, 19, and 24. The fee is $50 per person. Classes will include four to 12 students.
