Academic Open Houses scheduled at George Williams College

WILLIAMS BAY, Wis., March 6, 2008 — Interested in going back to school? George Williams College of Aurora University welcomes perspective students to a series of Academic Open Houses beginning this month. The first open house is Wednesday, March 12 for the Masters in Business Administration program, with a second Open House for those interested in pursuing a Masters in Social Work, Wednesday, March 26.  Both Open House sessions will be held on campus, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Winston Paul Educational Center, Room B.  

George Williams offers graduate, undergraduate and doctoral degree programs in education, nursing, recreation administration, social work and business. Additional Academic Open Houses covering all these programs will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Beasley Campus Center, Executive Dining Room on the following Saturdays:  April 12, July 19 and September 13. 

 “These Open Houses are an opportunity for potential students to talk to faculty members, meet with an admission representative and explore the many possibilities open to them at GWC,” says Linda Olbinski, dean of the School of Professional Studies at George Williams College. “We offer the kind of instruction that cannot be found with an online course or in a large university. We are an interactive collaborative environment that encourages greater understanding and creative learning.
