Aurora University to host Twilight Ski on campus golf course Feb. 2, March 2

Williams Bay, Wis., January 3, 2007 — George Williams College of Aurora University, 350 Constance Blvd. in Williams Bay, will host its second annual “Twilight Ski” cross-country ski events on the campus golf course from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on two Saturdays, Feb. 2 and March 2.

Admission is free. Advance registration is not required. Snacks and hot chocolate will be available in the course club house.

Groomed trails on AU’s 18-hole, gently sloping golf course will open for skiing. The trails, 3.1 miles long, will be lighted for the Twilight Ski events.

Skis may be rented for $5. Free parking is available adjacent to the clubhouse.

Campus trails are also open for skiing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Ski rentals are $5 for a half day, $8 for a day. Mid-week rentals are available by appointment by calling 262-245-8536.

Skiers with personal equipment can use the trails during regular hours. Admission is free, but a donation is requested to maintain the trails.
