2006 Music by the Lake series announced

Williams Bay, Wis., February 7, 2006 — George Williams College of Aurora University announces its sixth annual Music by the Lake series as follows:

  • Members of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra featuring Peter Nero, pianist and conductor with the Philadelphia Pops Orchestra, Saturday, July 1, 7:30 p.m.
  • The Ramsey Lewis Trio — "The Great Performer" — Chicago's legendary jazz artist in concert, Saturday, July 8, 7:30 p.m.
  • The Student Prince: The story of a star-crossed romance at Heidelberg University between the future king of Karlsburg and an innkeeper's daughter, Saturday, July 22, 7:30 p.m.: and Sunday, July 23, 4 p.m.
  • The Irish Tenors with Members of the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra and conductor Arnie Roth, Saturday, Aug. 5, 7:30 p.m.

Season tickets go on sale March 15 and individual ticket sales open May 15. Season ticket packages are $240 (Dress Circle), $200 (Reserved Pavilion), $160 (Pavilion), $100 (Terrace), and $35 (Lawn). Individual tickets are $60 (Dress Circle), $50 (Reserved Pavilion), $40 (Pavilion), $25 (Terrace), and $10 (Lawn).

Performances are held in the Allyn Pavilion for the Performing Arts on the shore of Geneva Lake at the George Williams College of Aurora University at 350 Constance Blvd. in Williams Bay, WI.
