Human Capital Planning: Aurora University Workshop May 28

AURORA, Ill.—“Human Capital Planning,” a free business workshop, will be presented by Aurora University’s Human Resources Institute from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, in the University Banquet Hall at Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.

The public is invited. Networking and refreshments are at 7:30 a.m.

The guest speaker is Aaron Sorensen , senior consultant with Sibson Consulting in Chicago.

He said, “Traditional workforce planning may not provide the insights needed to get the right people in the right place at the right time.

Sorensen will review the process, analytical tools and case studies of clients who have used it to improve workforce planning.

His experience includes serving global organizations and working with manufacturing and innovation-based companies. Sorensen earned a master’s degree in industrial organization psychology from DePaul University, Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa.
