Speed Dating and Romantic Attraction: Aurora University Program March 13

AURORA, Ill.--"What Can Research on Speed Dating Tell Us About Romantic Attraction?" will be discussed by a Northwestern University psychologist at Aurora University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13.

Eli Finkel, NU assistant professor of psychology, will discuss his research in Crimi Auditorium in the Institute for Collaboration at 407 S. Calumet Ave. in Aurora.

Finkel's research was published in the Feb. 14 journal Nature. In 2007, he received the Early Career Award from the Relationship Researchers Interest Group of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.

Program co-sponsors are the Associated Colleges of the Chicago Area and AU's chapter of Psi Chi national psychology honors society.
