Aurora University Announces March Events Calender

AURORA, Ill.---An art exhibit, a theater production and free income-tax preparation highlight March events at Aurora University.

The public is invited. Events are free unless a fee is indicated. The schedule is:

March 1: Tax Preparation---AU's sixth annual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is from 8 to 11 a.m. in Dunham Hall, 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora. The service is sponsored by the Dunham School of Business for low-income, elderly, disabled, and non-English speaking taxpayers. Bilingual college students translate for Spanish-speaking taxpayers. The income limit is $50,000. Information: 630-844-6895.

March 4: Art Show---Artworks by Schaumburg High School students will be showcased in AU's eighth annual high school art show through March 31.  An opening reception is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 4 at the Downstairs Dunham Gallery in Dunham Hall at 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora. March 5: Test Review---Aurora University will host a review session for the Illinois State Board of Education Basic Skills Test from 6 to 8 p.m. in room 422 in Eckhart Hall at 347 S. Gladstone Ave. in Aurora. Language arts and writing will be reviewed. Advance registration is required. Cost: $25, free to AU students and alumni. Information: 630-844-5520.

March 13: Psychology Lecture---Dr. Eli Finkel, Northwestern University psychology professor, will present his research on speed-dating and romantic attraction at* *5:30 p.m. in Crimi Auditorium in the Institute for Collaboration at 407 S. Calumet Ave. in Aurora.. Information: 630-844-3692.
