Building A Leadership Program: Aurora University Workshop Jan. 30

AURORA, Ill.-"Building a Leadership Program" will be presented at Aurora University's Human Resources Institute from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the University Banquet Hall at Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora. 

The public is invited. Admission is free. Networking and refreshments are at 7:30 a.m.

Rose Hollister, principal of Wheaton-based Hollister Consulting, Inc., will explore planning, implementing and evaluating a leadership program.

Additionally, she will discuss the difference between management and leadership development, and involving senior leadership. Hollister will provide ideas, examples and case studies. Hollister has 20 years of experience in creating and implementing leadership development programs. Her clients include Nicor Gas, Edward Hospital and Health System, Jones Lang LaSalle and Fortune 100 companies. She also teaches Executing Strategic Change in the Masters for Learning and Organizational Change program at Northwestern University.

HR Institute co-sponsors are the university's Dunham School of Business and Human Resource Management Systems, LLC, of Naperville.
