Aurora University Plans Fall Freshman Open House Nov. 3
AURORA, Ill.—Aurora University will hold an information open house for fall 2008 freshmen from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Prospective students, parents and friends are invited. The event opens with registration and a continental breakfast from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. in the lobby of Crimi Auditorium in the Institute for Collaboration at 407 S. Calumet Ave. in Aurora.
From 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the auditorium, university officials will discuss admission procedures, scholarships, and financial aid.
From 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., also in the auditorium, a panel of current students, faculty, and staff members will discuss campus life.
Visitors are invited to meet faculty at an academic fair from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. at Thornton gymnasium in Alumni Hall. Current students will lead group tours of the campus from 11:30 a.m. to noon from Thornton gym.
The open house concludes with a complimentary lunch for guests in the campus cafeteria at Alumni Hall from noon to 1 p.m.
