Aurora University to host vaccinations Oct. 23

Ill, October 10,
2007—Aurora University will host vaccinations for flu, pneumonia, meningitis and one for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Thornton Gymnasium in Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.
The public is invited. The Visiting Nurses Association of Fox Valley will administer vaccinations. Fees range from $25 to $90 and may be paid by cash, check or Medicare Part B. Costs vary according to the immunization requested.
Flu shots are $25 each (cash or check). A pneumonia vaccination is $35 (cash or check). Cost for a diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis booster is $45 (cash only). A meningitis vaccination is $90 (cash or check).
Each person may receive two vaccinations. No insurance or HMOs are accepted. Receipts will be provided for insurance reimbursement. VNA will bill Medicare Part B for flu and pneumonia shots for persons who present Medicare Part B cards. Call 630-844-5434 for information.
