Aurora University To Host Blood Drive Oct. 19

AURORA, Ill, October 9, 2007—Aurora University will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, in the lobby of Dunham Hall, 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.

The public is invited. Co-sponsors are the Student Nurses Association and Science Club. Heartland Blood Center of Aurora will conduct the drive.

Heartland is an independent medical organization serving 34 hospitals in a 12-county region in Illinois and Indiana.

Prospective donors must present a photo identification and be at least 17 years old (16 with written parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds, be symptom free of cold, flu and allergies, and be in general good health.
